Le Chambard Vine Festival
The first edition of the Vine Festival was held at Le Chambard from 13 April to 3 May 2024.
Our establishment enjoys a privileged location on the Alsace Wine Route, nestled between vineyards and the Vosges mountains. As such, we have created this annual event to pay tribute to the Alsatian region, the abundance of its local produce, and the outstanding winemakers who provide us with their wondrous creations.
A unique oenological experience on the Alsace Wine Route
The Vine Festival seeks to celebrate Alsatian wines, with Le Chambard located at the heart of the Grand Cru Schlossberg vineyard. This exceptional area enjoys outstanding mineral fertility which gives its wines remarkable finesse. Schlossberg is a historic wine and was the first to be awarded the “Grand Cru d'Alsace designation when it was established by the 1975 decree.
For Le Chambard, the Vine Festival also serves as an opportunity to pay tribute to our Head Sommelier and Best Craftsman of France, Jean-Baptiste Klein. Passionate about wine, he takes great pleasure in introducing our guests to the sheer wealth of Alsatian wines, sparking their curiosity and creating an emotion-filled pairing.
The programme of the Vine Festival at Le Chambard
The Vine Festival offers three tastings per week, that take the form of themed master-classes lasting 1.5 hours, led by Jean-Baptiste Klein, for groups of 10 to 12 people.
At our two restaurants, close cooperation between the kitchen and the sommellerie enables us to offer menus with harmonious wine pairings.
For our second edition in Spring 2025, Le Chambard plans to offer a unique four-hands dinner with the 2nd Head Sommelier.
During this period, we will welcome you with a special “Vines Stay” offer for two, which includes:
- An overnight stay in a room with views over the vineyards
- Dinner at La Table d’Olivier Nasti gourmet restaurant, including wine pairings
- We'll be sure to keep you posted on the dates of the 2025 Vine Festival.
