Hotel restaurant on the Alsace Wine Route
The famous Alsace Wine Route runs through the Kaysersberg Valley: take advantage of your visit to Le Chambard to discover its many treasures.
Our hotel enjoys a privileged location on the Schlossberg hillside, an area of exceptional mineral fertility, which imparts finesse and a varied range of aromas to its wines.
The Grand Cru de Schlossberg also has the privilege of being the first to have received this appellation with the 1975 decree.
Land, Wines and Heritage between Vineyards and Mountains
The “Terre & Vins au Pays de Colmar” region is a unique destination that will delight wine lovers. The valley boasts seven of Alsace's 51 Grand Crus.
This section of the Wine Route will enchant all those with a passion for cultural heritage, with its typical Alsatian villages such as Eguisheim and, of course, Kaysersberg.
And nature lovers will be equally enchanted by its stunning landscapes of plains, vineyards and the Vosges mountains.
From wineries to estates, discover the region’s signature grape varieties, including Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
Hiking Trails
In the immediate surroundings of Kaysersberg, two wine trails lead to the vines and the people who cultivate them. The Kaysersberg to Kientzheim hiking trail takes you on an easy 5km walk through vineyards, charming Alsatian villages with breathtaking views over the Alsace plain.
When you arrive in Kientzheim, spend time exploring this picturesque village surrounded by its medieval ramparts.
You can also explore the Kaysersberg Valley by bike with Alsace boasting 2,500km of greenways and cycling routes. These paths, beyond the Wine Route, will lead you into the Vosges mountains to the “Pays Welche" region.
